noisy class....

Yesterday I corrected the spelling tests of my 10 formers...I was dissapointed and shocked. Here are some quitations which dissapointed me, later made me laugh '' Gyventi- Gyvint   Mokėti dideles sumas- Byg many  Gentis- Eadanės''. I have never heard these words before :) The thing is that I translated all the words for my students, they had the whole week to prepare...and the results were poor. Some of them asked me to rewrite the test, some of them were quite happy with their ones. I have students who are absolutely indifferent to learning. They just don`t care and it is difficult to work with such students. Of course, there are students who are genteel, eager to learn and active so working with them is a pleasure.
Another thing is that one of my class became very noisy. This is the class 2d. They are rarely prepared, not all of them attend classes and the worst thing is that they don`t` work during classes. Of course, not all lessons go this way but today was a hard day for me. Only half of the class have their homework. The excuses are like this'' I forgot my book, I was at the dentist, I didn`t know what`s for homework'' ant the like. So I asked them to leave the classroom and don`t come if they do not have their homework and be ready to work. And what is more, they said '' Ok, that`s cool, we won`t come tomorrow''. I asked them to leave, but they sat till the end of the class. Tomorrow I`m having a lesson with this class, I will see if they come ready or not, or do not come at all. They watched me carefully, they want to see if I`m nervous or sad... But I showed no emotions to them. I`m tired of this class, I always have to silence them, and invite them to work. I hope they will rethink what have happened today and make right decisions.
The other following lessons were fluent, the students were prepared and very active. One of the lessons was my valid lesson and I got 10.
I wait for tomorrow to meet my noisy class....I hope they will come and be ready to work!
