Winter`s festival

Today I participated in winter`s festival. It is an annual winter festival for 9-10 classes` students. Students have to overcome many tasks (relay). One of the tasks was to pull their tutor in sledge. So I was participating with my pupils. They pulled me in the sledge, then I had to throw a bow on the pole. I succeeded with the bow from the first throw!!! My pupils won first place and were very excited!!  Although, I don`t teach my pupils English but I visit them. Evelina teaches them because their timetable was better for her. If I have a gap lesson, I always sit in the class and watch how they and Evelina work. Evelina says this is the best class. They are very smart and do good in English. I can add that they are very polite, active as well as friendly.

Another thing is my ''noisy'' class with whom I had a bad day yesterday. To my suprise, the majority come to my lesson today, except for two students. But I met those two students in the festival and they apologised me and promised to come on Monday.

Also, I had a lesson with my class 1B. The lesson was fluent as always. But I noticed one thing. My students are not very talkative. Today they had to speak on about one job or profession Why do you think it`s intresting/boring/challenging? Would you like to do such kind of job?ETC. because it is related to our recent topic. Everything what I heard was only few sentences....They seemed to be affraid of talking because they are used mostly to exercises where they have only to read. But we arranged to talk more. I`ll prepare more speaking tasks for them.
